Over 90% of the new homes at London Square Putney have been sold, with just eight apartments remaining, reports London Square.

Over 30 households have already moved in, with over half of the 11 storey development expected to be moved in by January 2016.

The sales success at the distinctive development of 113 one, two and three bedroom cutting-edge apartments, designed by internationally-acclaimed architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, reflects the high demand for smart new homes in sought after locations.

London Square has also just unveiled the newly dressed penthouse apartment 74, the only duplex on the site, which forms part of the exclusive Terrace Collection – the development’s show stopping collection of apartments on the four upper floors. Offering 1,155 sq ft of flexible living accommodation, the south facing penthouse 74 boasts a spacious living/dining area, an oak feature staircase and high spec kitchen. There is also direct access via bifold doors onto the generous 883 sq ft private terrace – one of the most sought-after features within the scheme.

All of the apartments at London Square Putney have been designed to maximise the use of light and space, each with a balcony or winter garden. The apartments feature bespoke kitchens by Siematic, luxurious bathrooms, underfloor heating and audio systems. The development will also incorporate a south-facing private garden for residents, as well as communal roof gardens. Additionally, other facilities include underground car parking, where residents have the opportunity to purchase a space, as well as a new public plaza and 24-hour concierge service.

Rebecca Littler, Sales & Marketing Director of London Square, said: “London Square Putney has been extremely well received, with a diverse range of buyers purchasing at this award-winning development that is breathing new life into this section of the Upper Richmond Road. We expect sales success to continue.”

As well as links to London Waterloo in only 17 minutes from Putney station, there is access on the District Line to the exclusive areas of Chelsea and Knightsbridge and the rail hubs of Victoria and Paddington. Commuter riverboat services run to Blackfriars and the nearby A3 runs straight into central London, whilst a short drive over Putney Bridge takes you to Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea. Heathrow, Gatwick and London City airports are all accessible in less than 50 minutes.

The shopping and lively café culture of Putney High Street is close at hand, blending upmarket brands with quirky independent retailers. Putney caters to all tastes, with over 30 restaurants and bars to choose from. For the active, there is also a Virgin Active gym opposite and open spaces nearby, including riverside walks, Wandsworth Park, Putney Heath, Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park.
