Estate agency Barnard Marcus has announced that The Bloom development in Shepherds Bush has sold almost all 48 of its one, two and three bedroom apartments in under three weeks.

The development was first open for public viewing on 8 March with Barnard Marcus registering over 30 offers in the opening weekend. With London property in such high demand there remain just two apartments available to buy.

Nationwide has recently announced that the average house price for London is now more than double the rest of the UK. The average price for a home in the capital now sits at £362,699 with signs already showing this will increase further into 2014.

The Bloom offers the very best of contemporary urban living. Prices start at £320,000 for a one bedroom apartment and £480,000 for a two bedroom apartment. With excellent transport links close by and its close vicinity to Westfield, London’s property hungry buyers have been quick off the mark to ensure they secure the home they’ve been searching far and wide for.

Regional Land & New Homes Director for Barnard Marcus, Jason Howes, is delighted with the success of the W12 apartments: “It’s been extremely refreshing to see how positively The Bloom apartments have been received,” says Jason. “Property in London is highly sought after at present and it’s great that Barnard Marcus is able to provide high quality apartments to a large number of buyers in the city.”
