Plans approved for the redevelopment of 30 Minories
The City of London Corporation has approved plans for a new wellness-led 17,314m2 office development at 30 Minories EC3.
The scheme designed by PLP Architecture will replace St Clare House to create a new Grade A sustainable office floor space and a new cultural hub for local communities and visitors.
Shravan Joshi, Chairman of the City of London Corporation’s Planning and Transportation Committee, commented: “30 Minories exemplifies the new generation of holistic office schemes that we are sustainably delivering, across the Square Mile: green and plugged into to the City’s history and culture, whilst providing public realm improvements for local residents and visitors.
“Through the City Corporation’s Destination City programme, together with developments such as 30 Minories, we are creating a unique and diverse offer for local workers, residents and visitors, as well as investors, to make the Square Mile to a world-leading leisure destination for all to enjoy.”
Mark Kelly, Partner and COO at PLP Architecture said: “We’re delighted that PLP Architecture’s designs for 30 Minories and Writers House have been approved, reinforcing the flight to quality in the London office market. We know this site intimately, with our offices being next door, and are committed to creating a scheme that will have a meaningful and much-needed positive impact on the local area and community.
We are excited to continue working with Patrizia, Morgan Capital and the wider project team, and to add to our portfolio of high-quality, healthy and commercially successful workplaces in London.”
