One of the most anticipated starts for 2024 is the redevelopment of the Millbank Tower complex, a project granted permission by Westminster Council in April 2016.


The Grade II listed building on the banks of the River Thames is set to be redeveloped by renowned prime London developers Reuben Brothers (One Carrington Street 2024, Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch 2025). The site holds a sensitive position in London, situated directly on the Embankment and surrounded by conservation areas and heritage landmarks like the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey. It is also visible from the Parliament Square World Heritage Site.

The new development involves increasing the height of the 33-storey Millbank Tower by three floors, making it 36 storeys tall, while the shorter element will receive an additional floor, reaching nine storeys.
