Hammersmith & Fulham Council has approved plans for 134 new high-quality homes at Aintree Estate.

Two new buildings (split into Blocks A, B and C) ranging in height from 3 to 7 storeys replace the old Hartopp Point & Lannoy Point. The development will deliver 134 residential units (Class C3) together with associated parking, cycle parking, hard and soft landscaping, play space, access, utilities and other associated works.

The plans for the new development were approved by the Planning and Development Committee of Hammersmith & Fulham Council on Wednesday 21 September 2022.

112 new homes affordable with 67 flats being at social or London affordable rent. 45 homes will be designated as affordable Shared Ownership.

Construction is expected to start in Spring 2023.

Cllr Frances Umeh, H&F Cabinet Member for Housing and Homelessness, commented: “I’m delighted that we can start to build these new energy-efficient homes on the Aintree Estate.”

“We know that people are struggling to afford homes locally. That’s why we’re set to build more than 3,000 new affordable homes across H&F over the next four years.”
