Metrus Limited has appointed Polyteck Group for the new mechanical & engineering M&E contract at the Royal Exchange building.

As part of the contract, Polyteck will deliver a range of services, including black building tests, security and building management systems, fire services, fall arrest systems, and water sampling for TVC and legionella.

They will also be responsible for maintaining emergency lighting, generators, air handling units (AHU), fan coil units (FCU), chillers, sanitary ware, boilers, tap temperatures, and drainage (float and pan lines).

Neil Wheadon, facilities management operations director, Polyteck, commented: “Polyteck has enjoyed a long and successful business partnership with Metrus and we are thrilled to add the Royal Exchange to our thriving portfolio.

“This contract is another fantastic heritage site and adds to the work we already do at similar sites in London such as the Burlington Arcade. We look forward to bringing our expertise to this iconic building right in the heart of London’s financial district.”
