Brathew Limited, represented by international real estate advisor Savills, has let the 233-235 Westbourne Grove store to Parisian childrenswear retailer Bonton for its first standalone UK store.

The brand was founded by Irene and Thomas Cohen in 2001 and now has stores in Paris, Bordeaux, Tokyo, Los Angeles and Seoul, as well as concessions in hundreds of multi-brand and department stores globally.

Brathew has a agreed a new 10-year lease for the 1,440 sq ft (134 sq m) property in Westbourne Grove, close to Club Monaco, Joseph, Matches, Sandro, Maje and numerous other high end fashion brands.

Peter Thomas, director in the Central London retail team at Savills, commented: “We are thrilled to have secured this deal with Bonton, which will now bring its globally renowned range of high end childrenswear, bed linen, furniture and accessories to West London. Westbourne Grove is an ideal fit for the brand, which will perfectly complement the existing line up of leading retailers, quality cafes and restaurants.”

John Scott of the landlord Brathew Limited added: “We are extremely happy to welcome Bonton to Westbourne Grove for its first London store. This will complement the unique trading style that epitomises the location, being near Bodyism, Daylesfords. James Perse, Joseph and more.”
