St James’s Market, a new 260,000 sq. ft. commercial development between Haymarket and Regent Street St James’s comprises 210,000 sq. ft. of new, modern office accommodation, alongside six flagship retail stores for best in class lifestyle and fashion, and seven new restaurants, all set within over half an acre of revitalised public spaces, including a new public square.
History
Leading lifestyle and fashion stores already opened include Jigsaw’s bespoke emporium and Swedish cycling brand ASSOS, with Smeg and Paul and Shark opened in winter 2017.
2017 June - TowerBrook Capital Partners, a London and New York-based investment firm, announced to be moving its UK headquarters to St James’s Market.
2017 January - Urban Tea Rooms announced.
2016 March - Jigsaw will open a new West End Emporium bespoke to St James's offering its full range of premium men's and women's clothing and accessories. This new concept store, at around 3, 000 sq ft of trading space, follows on from a menswear focused pop up with The Crown Estate on Jermyn Street last year, and will include 1,000 sq ft for its sister brand, The Shop at Bluebird.
- Leading Michelin-two-starred Nordic restaurant, Aquavit, based in New York, will open its first European place here.
2016 January - Swedish cycling brand Assos and premium design and lifestyle brand SMEG were the first two retailers to sign up to flagship stores at St James's Market. Global private equity firm, the Carlyle Group, will also be occupying new offices at the scheme for their London HQ.
