Old Street Station and Roundabout development in London EC1.

Transport for London TfL modernising the station entrances and the outdated 1960s roundabout.

The northwest arm of the roundabout has been closed permanently to all traffic, while work continues to create a new public space that provides better access for pedestrians and cyclists to Old Street station.

When completed, the former Old Street roundabout will have permanent, fully segregated cycle lanes and new pedestrian crossings to make it easier to walk and cycle. Additionally, the company is upgrading the station to include two new passenger entrances, a green roof, and new lifts for an upgraded retail area.

TfL aims to complete the project by early 2024.
