Morshead Mansions was built in the Edwardian era in about 1904 and is made up of thirteen separate but contiguous blocks each comprising of eight - two to three bedroom flats of about 950 sq ft. The building has been extensively renovated, restoring its original architectural features and providing modern mains services.

Morshead Mansions is close to the Maida Vale and Warwick Avenue underground stations on the Bakerloo line. Maida Vale station is only two stops from Paddington Station's mainline terminus and the Heathrow Express service. Regular bus services provide alternative connections to the West End.
