2018 July - YardNine and Invesco purchase 40 and 50 Eastbourne Terrace from Hermes Real Estate Investment Management for £110 million. 50 Eastbourne Terrace has planning consent for a new 94,185 sq ft office and retail scheme with a terrace of seven mews houses. The London office acquisition was made on behalf of one of Invesco Real Estate’s separate account clients. Farmer Capital represented Hermes Real Estate Investment Managers; Michael Elliott and Colliers advised YardNine and Invesco.
2016 - Planning permission granted in December 2016 for:
Demolition of existing buildings (60,000 sq ft (5,574 sq. m.) in three blocks) and redevelopment of the site to provide a 6 storey (plus existing lower ground floor) 'L' shaped building, including terraces, a plant room, a green roof and solar panels at roof level to comprise 2 x A1 (retail shops) units and 1 x flexible A1 (retail shop) / A2 (financial and professional services) / A3 (cafe and restaurant) unit at ground floor level and B1 (office) floorspace at part ground and all upper stories, Erection of 7 residential townhouses, incorporating concealed roof terraces and landscaped areas to the front on Chilworth Mews.
