Originally built for the soap manufacturer Mr. R. W. Hudson. The Gothic-style building designed by Romaine Walker and Besant is decorated with heraldic shields and gargoyles.
The building on the corner of Deanery Street and Stanhope Gate is facing Park Lane and Hyde Park. Adjacent to 9 Stanhope Gate and 49 Park Lane & 6-7 Tilney Street buildings.
Entrance to the building is from Deanery Street, just a few steps from the main entrance of The Dorchester Hotel.
