Overview

The Staging Post on Lampton Road is a new development in Hounslow, London TW3.

Phase 1 will create 160 studios, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes. It is a mix of Shared Ownership and affordable rent apartments. Completion in 2018.

This is the residential part of The Lampton Road and Civic Centre project, a partnership between Notting Hill Housing and Bouygues.

The larger scheme will deliver over 900 new homes for rent, sale and shared ownership. A mixture of studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments and houses across 10 buildings varying between three and nine storeys. 459 for private sale, 370 Shared Ownership, and 90 for affordable rent.

History

The term Staging Post refers to an important place where people would meet or stop on long journeys. Communities then formed around these staging posts as people developed long-term roots and set up home.
