Manor Place Depot
Key Details
Overview
Manor Place Depot is a mixed-use development in Elephant and Castle, London SE17. Completed in 2019.
The development comprised 270 new homes - 166 for private sale, 60 Shared Ownership, and 44 social rent. 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments were for sale through Notting Hill Sales. The homes sold out in autumn 2021.
Alongside the homes, new commercial space was created within under-utilised existing buildings and within the railway arches that cut through the site.
The listed heritage structures at 33 Manor Place and the neighbouring former Pool Building were retained and are used for residential and commercial uses respectively.
33 Manor Place is a Grade II listed building, originally constructed in 1898 as public bathing pools and a wash house.
17-21 Manor Place towards the south of the site, built in 1899, once housed a coroner’s court and adjoining mortuary.
