Edgware Road Station building on Cabbell Street in London NW1.
The station was opened on 10th January 1863 as part of the world's first underground railway, the Metropolitan Railway.
The station has four platforms, two for each of the Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City lines.
The station building is Grade II listed.
The station was the site of one of the 7 July 2005 London bombings.
In 2012, a new electrical substation was built adjacent to the station. The substation was clad in a mosaic of 700 decorated panels of various patterns inspired by local history, as part of an Art on the Underground commission.

Edgware Road Station is located on the corner of Chapel Street and Cabbell Street, within Travelcard Zone 1. The aerial view of the station does not include the whole station site, just the main building. Neighbouring buildings include Capital House.
