Overview

Islington Square is a mixed-use development in Islington, London N1.

The 4.5-acre development includes flats, shops, restaurants, offices, a health club and a cinema.

The former North London Mail Centre site was redeveloped as Islington Square, a 500,000 sq ft mixed-use shopping and residential district in London's N1.

The final collection of new build 2 and 3-bedroom apartments were launched for sale by Beauchamp Estates in spring 2021 with prices from £895,000.

History

2018 May - Scandinavian fashion giant COS decides to take 9,500 sqft of space, located within the listed former post office building at the entrance to the scheme fronting on to Upper Street. Taking the unit on a 15-year lease, the leading Scandinavian brand, which is part of the H&M Group, has enjoyed huge success over the last eight years since it first opened in the UK. The latest store will join COS’s portfolio spread across other prime London locations including Regent Street, High Street Kensington and Covent Garden. Cushman & Wakefield, Orme Retail and Shelley Sandzer are joint retained agents for Islington Square. COS was unrepresented.
